Wetherby Flat Race | Family Day featuring the Mascot Gold Cup
A popular day in Wetherby’s calendar. In addition to the flat horseracing, there will be a running of the Guinness World Record holding, Mascot Gold Cup! Mascots will warm up in the Parade Ring, an hour before the first race and then run over the final furlong, including a couple of jumps. It is a huge fund raiser for charity every year so support the mascots and help them raise some cash for their chosen charities.
Also in attendance, will be the National Festival Circus and New Beginnings Horses, with an ambassador horse to meet in person. There will be racing and horse-themed crafting and a ginat inflatable slide and bouncy castle.
Gates open at 12 noon and the first race is 2.30pm.
Admission is £27.50 in advance for the Premier Enclosure, or £22.50 for concessions and £19.50 in teh Paddock Enclosure or £14.50 for concessions. The Course Enclosure is £6.50 in advance or £3.50 for concessions and Cars to the Course Enclosure are £18.50.
Accompanied under 18s are admitted free.
