Sunflower Benches

Do you enjoy the atmosphere of the races but prefer your own space?

After the buzz of an exciting race do you need some time out to take a breather and re-set?

If you answered yes to either of these questions then take a seat on a sunflower bench.  Funded by the Racing Foundation, each Yorkshire racecourse has three sunflower benches, beautifully decorated with bright sunflowers, located in a slightly quieter area of the racecourse.

If you can’t immediately find them, please ask a member of staff who can point you in the right direction.

Beverley – Course Enclosure, Grandstand & Paddock and Premier Enclosure
Catterick – Near the Paddock and main office
Doncaster – By the Weighing Room
Pontefract – Grandstand & Paddock enclosure
Redcar – Near the pond in the Grandstand Enclosure
Ripon – Bandstand, paddock lawn and club lawn
Thirsk – In the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure
Wetherby – Weighing room
