The Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival comes to town for the next meeting at Catterick on Wednesday 22nd July.
Part of the nine day festival incorporating all the Yorkshire racecourses, the seven races at Catterick start at 2.20pm with the feature race being the £10,000 Skybet Supporting the Yorkshire Racing Summer Festival Handicap Stakes over five furlongs.
The Anne’s 60th Birthday Supporting New Beginnings Handicap Stakes is kindly sponsored by regular race goer and Catterick Annual Badge Holder Anne Jacques Morgan, and names the Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival’s chosen charity New Beginnings. New Beginnings retrains and re homes retired racehorses and will be collecting and providing demonstrations throughout the Festival.
Also in attendance and sponsoring is the 5th Regiment Royal Artillery based at Marne barracks. Sponsors at Catterick for the last two decades the 5th Regiment Royal Artillery highlight the close links between the Racecourse and Catterick Garrison.
The day includes additional children’s entertainment such as bouncy castles, roundabout and face painters and live music throughout racing from Trio Gitan.
