Catterick Set for Exciting 2026/27 National Hunt Season

Catterick Racecourse is preparing to welcome racegoers back for another exciting National Hunt season, with ten fixtures scheduled between November 2026 and March 2027.

The season gets underway on Friday 20 November, kicking off a winter of competitive jump racing, festive celebrations and countryside fashion.

Following the opening fixture, attention turns to the popular festive racedays, beginning with Christmas at Catterick on Tuesday 15 December. Racegoers can then enjoy the Sky Bet Christmas Meeting on Monday 28 December, where visitors wearing a Christmas jumper will be in with a chance of winning a prize, before welcoming in 2027 at the ever-popular New Year’s Day Meeting.

One of the highlights of the season comes on Friday 15 January with the running of the bettingsites.co.uk North Yorkshire Grand National, Catterick’s longest and most prestigious National Hunt race. Having moved from its traditional Thursday slot, the Friday fixture offers racegoers the perfect opportunity to start their weekend with a superb afternoon of racing.

The season concludes with the much-loved Countryside Ladies’ Day on Wednesday 10 March, combining quality racing with a celebration of country style and fashion.

Admission prices have been held for the 2026/27 National Hunt season, with advance tickets available from just £8 per adult. Discounts are available when booking at least 48 hours before raceday, either online or by telephone, while under 18s are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

Racegoers attending selected fixtures this winter will also receive a free ticket for evening racing on Tuesday 27 April, when booking in advance.

For those looking to enhance their raceday experience, Catterick’s popular Restaurant Package is available at every fixture. Meanwhile, the Horseshoe Package offers excellent value, including Grandstand & Paddock admission, a racecard and the Dish of the Day from the Horseshoe Café, priced from just £26 on standard fixtures and £28 on feature racedays.

Visitors choosing the Course Enclosure should note that throughout the National Hunt season, the enclosure will operate as a picnic area, with the bar facility open for shelter only. An exception will apply for the Sky Bet Christmas Meeting and New Year’s Day Meeting, when normal facilities will be available.

For regular racegoers, the 2026/27 Annual Pass offers excellent value and provides admission to all fixtures between 1 November 2026 and 31 October 2027. Fully transferable, the pass can be shared between friends and family members.

Tickets for all 2026/27 National Hunt fixtures are on sale now at www.catterickbridge.co.uk.
