What is your background/introduction to racing?
I started work for Jenny Pitman at age 15 when she trained point to pointers, going on to be professional jockey to her and then rode for Fred Winter.

Favourite horses either currently in training, you’ve previously trained or seen in your lifetime:
Alpha Delphini, Sil Sila and Monsieur Bond.   Also, a special mention for Derring Rose as I used to ride him out.

Which jockeys do you regularly use? Graham Lee is our stable jockey

Three horses to follow this season and why?
Unleash – plenty of speed, a prominent 2yo over 5f and Thirsk is likely to suit.
Blackberry – a decent filly who likes a 5f trip, probably best at Doncaster.
Alpha Delphini will be aiming for a 5f Group 1 race at York.

Favourite Yorkshire course and why: York – Alpha Delphini won the 2018 Nunthorpe

Anything else of note e.g records held, funny stories, memorable racedays, first winner etc:
Trained the first winner at the New Royal Ascot with Hellvelyn – Coventry Stakes 2006.
Differential still holds the 7f record at Catterick.
Trained a winner when Royal Ascot was held at York with Titus Alone 2005.
Most memorable race day was when Alpha Delphini won the Nunthorpe at York in 2018 by a pixel!
First winner on the flat was with Sharp Gazelle at Bath racecourse.
