Started in racing at 16 for Bruce Hobbs, then went on to be Assistant to Arthur Budgett during the years of Derby winner Morston and many others great horses.

Mine. To win 3 Bunbury Cups. A Royal Hunt Cup, Victoria Cup and the John O’Gaunt Stakes, you wouldn’t get many like him!

York, it holds the best racing, we have been lucky there over the years and the owners and trainers’ lunches are always to a very high standard
