Under starters orders for the Harrogate Theatre Onesie Derby!
This fantastic children’s event sees children aged 5-8 being given the opportunity to race along the final furlong in their animal onesies for the chance to win Lightwater Valley tickets and more. Cuteness overload!
Organised by Ripon Races to support Harrogate Theatre, the Onesie Derby will be running on 31st August and they are hopeful of a potentially spectacular display of unicorns, tigers, sharks, dinosaurs and more. Entry is completely free, and an accompanying adult will also gain free entry.
Harrogate Theatre will be there on the day providing costumes to dress up in over on the Course and raising money. The Theatre is a registered charity (The Harrogate (White Rose) Theatre Trust Ltd, No. 225342) that relies on charitable donations, fundraising, and corporate partnerships to sustain its community, educational, and performance programs.
Because box office income covers only a fraction of their costs, the charity uses financial support to fund vital local initiatives.
