Yorkshire Beacon

In 2022 Go Racing In Yorkshire in conjunction with Racing Together launched a new community and education ‘beacon’ programme.

Based on the beacon models run by Newmarket and Aintree, the Yorkshire beacon will be working with the county’s racing assets to put beneficiaries first.

Following a successful pilot, the programme will continue across the nine racecourses with a variety of activities which will engage with different groups in the community.
