What is your background/introduction to racing?

Brought up in a Public House, watching Racing, rode ponies and progressed on to Race horses, riding out at weekends etc. First job at sixteen with Hugh O’Neil at Dorking, First ride on the flat for him at 16yr, first winner on the flat 17yr.

Anything else of note e.g. records held, funny stories, memorable race days, first winner etc.

Winning the Dante at York May meeting was a great day, especially as the race had not been won by a Northern based trainer for a long time.
